MISSION STATEMENT

The Southern California Youth Cultrual Arts Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is to foster self-esteem in children of all races, ages, and religious affiliations through participation in cultural arts projects.

Our goals are to encourage youngsters to participate in and learn about all facets of theater production.  We believe the children will become confident, productive, civic minded citizens.

The YCAF board of directors intends to reward these young thespians with an annual Youth Drama Award program.  We will present trophies and awards to youngsters who excel in productions around the Southern California area.

YCAF will have workshops and put on full scale productions which will include variety, musical comedy, and dramatic productions.  The youngsters will be involved in all phases of theater production including acting, technical support, producing, assistant directing, sets, costumes and publicity.
